Inception Spin-off

We preserve, valorize and implement the cultural and architectural heritage with the latest digital technologies.

The spin-off offers different services due to the presence of various professionals capable of developing at multiple project scales and from different disciplinary angles multiple activities.

Services and activities offered include the following topics, also supported by ICE (Inception Core Engine) technologies:

01.

Integrated three-dimensional surveys (laser scanning and photogrammetry) and thermographic and spectrophotometric surveys using the most advanced data acquisition techniques.

02.

Knowledge management aggregated to a 3D model by developing BIM/HBIM models in IFC format for document archival use.

03.

Development of products, strategies for the valorization and digital content for the dissemination and communication of the historical-architectural-cultural heritage through, among other things, the tools offered by the INCEPTION technologies, 360° photos and videos, and AR and VR techniques.

We are part of "The 4CH Project"

Project funded by the European Commission (Horizon 2020 - g.a. 101004468) for the creation of a European Competence Centre (CC) on the Conservation of Cultural Heritage.

THE SPECIAL FEATURES OF OUR TECHNOLOGIES

ICE - Inception Core Engine

01.

Management, visualization and archiving of Building Information Models (BIM) – in IFC format – and the related digital documents, through technologies for decomposing and reading geometry and metadata, related to each other.

02.

Development of an appropriate ontology capable of handling both IFC information and its enrichment through semantic logic, in compliance with the specific objectives and requirements defined by the clients.

03.

Development and maintenance of a cloud-based set of RESTful applications in order to extract all semantic information (both geometry and metadata) contained in the 3D model and generate RDF (Resource Description Framework) triples serialized as TTL (Turtle) files.
